What is meant by “Makhmoom al-Qalb”?
Answer:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin ʿAmr bin al-ʿAs رضی اللہ عنہما, who said: It was asked to the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم: “Who is the best among the people?”
“Every person who has a clean heart and speaks the truth. They said: We know the one who speaks the truth, but what is meant by ‘Makhmoom al-Qalb’? He صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said: He is the pious and pure-hearted person, in whose heart there is no sin, no transgression, no malice, and no envy.”
