Deeds Leading to Paradise Without Accountability and Their Evidences
Source: Fatāwā ʿUlamāʾ Ahl al-Ḥadīth
❖ Question
By virtue of which deeds will a person enter Paradise without accountability and reckoning? Kindly provide proofs.
❖ Answer
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, Ammā Baʿd!
This blessed Hadith is recorded in Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī:
«ھُمُ الَّذِیْنَ لاَ یَسْتَرقُوْنَ ، وَلاَ یَکْتُوُونَ وَلاَ یَتَطَیَّرُوْنَ ، وَعَلٰی رَبِّھِمْ یَتَوَکَّلُوْنَ»
Translation:
“From the Ummah of Muḥammad (ﷺ), seventy thousand people will enter Paradise without accountability and punishment. They will be those:
✿ who do not seek ruqyah (spiritual healing through others),
✿ who do not cauterize their bodies as treatment,
✿ who do not take omens (bad luck),
✿ rather, they rely and place full trust only upon their Lord.”
