Cutting a fruit-bearing tree without the permission of its owner is haram (prohibited).

Cutting a fruit-bearing tree without the permission of its owner is haram (prohibited).
- Anyone who cuts such a tree must compensate the owner for its monetary value.
- Similarly, if someone cuts branches from a date tree, they are required to pay an amount equivalent to the local market value based on the prevailing conditions.
