Correct Timing of Morning and Evening Adhkār in Islam

❖ Timing of Morning and Evening Adhkār: After Obligatory Prayers or Flexible? ❖

Source: Aḥkām wa Masāʾil fī Ḍawʾ al-Qurʾān wal-Ḥadīth, Vol. 1, p. 494

✿ Question:

Must the morning and evening adhkār (duʿās) be recited specifically after the obligatory prayers, or can they also be recited before or after that time?

✿ Answer:

Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ammā baʿd:

The morning and evening adhkār are not restricted only to after the obligatory prayers. They may be recited before or after as well, within their respective times of ṣubḥ (morning) and ʿashiyy (evening).

✅ Conclusion:
Morning and evening supplications can be recited flexibly within their time frames, not necessarily tied to the conclusion of the obligatory prayers.
