Congregational Dua

Is congregational Dua where 1 makes the Dua & the others raise their hands as well & says أمين permissible if done occasionally for example at a Nikkah, walimah, funeral or like a husband & wife making dua together?
Congregational du'a that is organized as a specific practice at events such as a nikah, walimah, or funeral has no basis in the Sunnah and is therefore not permissible when taken as a ritual. The Prophet ﷺ and his companions never gathered people to raise their hands and say Ameen after these occasions. The Lajnah, Ibn Baz, and Ibn Uthaymeen all clarified that such structured du'a, especially at funerals or after the nikah contract, is an innovation, while the legislated act at a nikah is simply saying بارك الله لكما....

However, occasional, non-ritual, spontaneous du'a where one person supplicates and others say Ameen is permissible, as long as it is not taken as a regular practice or believed to have special virtue. Likewise, husband and wife making du'a together is allowed. The principle is that worship must follow the Sunnah, and anything turned into a repeated or specific format without evidence becomes blameworthy.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
"من عمل عملا ليس عليه أمرنا فهو رد"
“Whoever performs an action that is not in accordance with our affair, it is rejected.”
