
Qur’anic Evidence:
① Surah Al-Ahzab, Verse 40﴿وَلَٰكِن رَّسُولَ ٱللَّهِ وَخَاتَمَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ﴾
➤ “But he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets.”
This verse explicitly affirms that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final prophet.
② Surah Al-Ma’idah, Verse 3
﴿أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ﴾
➤ “Today I have perfected for you your religion...”
This indicates the completion of the religion—no need for a new prophet or religion.
③ Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verses 80-81
➤ Allah took a covenant from all prophets about believing in and supporting the final Messenger ﷺ, who would come after them.

➤ These verses confirm that the final religion (Islam) will prevail over all others, signifying its finality and universality.

Conclusion:
❖ The Qur'an, authentic Sunnah, consensus of the Companions, and scholars of the Ummah have decisively established that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the last and final messenger.
❖ No prophet or divine law will come after him.
❖ Belief in the Finality of Prophethood is a fundamental tenet of Islamic faith.
❖ Denying it constitutes disbelief.
