❖ Question

If, before marriage, the girl is informed that the boy is incapable of fulfilling her physical needs, and she consents to marry him willingly without any pressure, will the man still be sinful in this case?

❖ Answer

Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu wa-s-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, Ammā Baʿd!

In this case, the man has a moral responsibility to seek treatment before marriage and not ruin the life of any woman.

◄ Islam commands all Muslims to be sincere well-wishers for one another.
◄ True goodwill toward the woman requires that the man complete his treatment before entering into marriage.
