This excerpt is taken from Sheikh Hussain bin Mubarak Al-Mawsili's Arabic book Al-Awamer wal-Nawahi, whose Urdu translation has been done by Muhammad Sarwar Gohar Sahib under the title Ahkamat o Mamnooat.
① It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما that a beggar came to him and asked a question. Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما asked him: Do you testify that there is no deity except Allah and that Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم is the Messenger of Allah? He said: Yes! He asked: Do you fast? He said: Yes. He said: You have asked, and the beggar has a right. Therefore, we have the right to show kindness to you. So he gave him a cloth. Then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم say:
ما من مسلم كسا مسلما ثوبا إلا كان فى حفظ الله ما دام عليه منه خرقة
"If a Muslim clothes another Muslim, as long as any piece of that clothing remains on his body, the one who clothed him will be under Allah’s protection."
Reference: Tirmidhi, Book of the Description of the Resurrection, Softening of Hearts, and Piety from the Messenger of Allah 2484, the narration is weak, its chain includes Khalid bin Tahman who is weak in hadith.
① Sayyiduna Abu Darda رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لا تحقرن من المعروف شيئا ولو أن تلقى أخاك بوجه طلق
"Do not consider any good deed insignificant, even if it is meeting your brother with a cheerful face (this too is a good deed)."

② Sayyiduna Abu Darda رضي الله عنه also narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لا يحقرن أحدكم شيئا من المعروف، وإن لم يجد فليلق أخاه بوجه طلق، وإذا اشتريت لحما أو طبخت قدرا فأكثر مرقته واغرف لجارك منه
"None of you should consider any good deed insignificant, and if he finds no good deed to do, then he should meet his brother with a cheerful face. And when you buy meat or cook a pot, make extra broth and send some of it to your neighbor."

③ Sayyiduna Abu Dharr رضي الله عنه narrates that the Messenger of Allah صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم said:
لا تحقرن من المعروف شيئا ولو أن تلقى أخاك بوجه طلق
"Do not consider any good deed insignificant, even if it is just meeting your (religious) brother with a cheerful face."

① Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
إن من أكمل المؤمنين إيمانا أحسنهم أخلاقا وألطفهم بأهله
"The most perfect believer among the believers is the one who has the best character and is most kind and gentle to his family."
