✦ The Claim:
It is said that the Prophet ﷺ stated:"The earth is illuminated due to my face, the sky is illuminated due to my countenance, and I was taken up to the heights of the heavens. Allah extracted my name from His Name—so the One upon the Throne is Maḥmūd and I am Muḥammad."
✦ Ḥadīth Authentication:
➤ Chain of narration: Fabricated (موضوع)Imām al-Shawkānī states:
"This ḥadīth is fabricated and has been invented by some storytelling preachers."
