Can the Jinn Present a Surah Like That of the Qur'an?
Answer:
No, they cannot.
Allah ﷻ states:
"قُل لَّئِنِ اجْتَمَعَتِ الْإِنسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَىٰ أَن يَأْتُوا بِمِثْلِ هَـٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ لَا يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا"
“Say: If mankind and jinn were to come together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they were to support one another.”
[Surah al-Isrā’: 88]
In this verse, Allah ﷻ highlights the honor and greatness of the Qur'an, affirming that even if all of mankind and the jinn were to unite and assist one another, they would still be incapable of producing anything like the Qur'an.
How could the speech of creation ever equal the speech of the Creator—a Creator who has no likeness, no equal, and no counterpart?
