Can a menstruating (ḥā’iḍ) or postnatal (nufasā’) woman eat and drink during the days of Ramadan?
Yes, a menstruating or postnatal woman may eat and drink during the days of Ramadan.
However, it is more appropriate and preferable that if there are children present at home, she should eat and drink discreetly, so that no confusion arises in the minds of the children.
