A minor can perform Hajj, but after reaching maturity, that Hajj will not suffice for the obligatory Hajj. He will have to perform it again to fulfill the obligation.
① A woman brought her child to the Prophet ﷺ and asked: الهذا حج؟
"Is there Hajj for this child?"
The Prophet ﷺ replied: نعم و لك أجر
"Yes, and you will have the reward."

② Narrated from Ibn ʿAbbās (RA): The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
أيما صبى حج ثم بلغ الحنث فعليه أن يحج حجة أخرى
"Any child who performs Hajj, then reaches puberty, must perform another Hajj."
