Question:
If a pregnant woman sees blood one or two days before childbirth, should she stop fasting and praying, or what should she do?
Answer:
If a pregnant woman sees blood one or two days before childbirth and it is accompanied by labor pains, this blood is considered Nifas (postnatal bleeding). In such a case, she should stop praying and fasting.
However, if the blood is not accompanied by labor pains, it is classified as irregular blood (fasid) and is not considered Nifas. In this situation, she should continue to pray and fast as usual, as this blood has no bearing on her acts of worship.
