✿ A Specific Hour of Acceptance on Friday
➊ Ḥaḍrat Abū Hurayrah (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ once mentioned the day of Jumuʿah and said:
فيه ساعة لا يوافقها عبد مسلم وهو قائم يصلي يسأل الله عز وجل شيئا إلا أعطاه إياه
“There is a moment on the day of Jumuʿah during which, if a Muslim servant is standing in prayer and asks Allah for something, Allah will surely grant it to him.”
Then he ﷺ gestured with his hand indicating that it is a very short time.
[Bukhārī: 935, 5294 | Muslim: 852 | Nasā’ī: 3/110 | Ibn Mājah: 1137 | Aḥmad: 2/230 | Abū Dāwūd: 1046 | Tirmidhī: 488]
➋ In another narration from Ḥaḍrat Abū Lubābah al-Badrī (رضي الله عنه), the Prophet ﷺ said:
فيه ساعة لا يسأل العبد فيها شيئا إلا آتاه الله إياه
“There is an hour during which a servant does not ask Allah for anything except that He grants it.”
[Ḥasan: Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Mājah: 888 | Aḥmad: 3/430]
❖ Determining the Hour of Acceptance
Due to varying narrations, there exists difference of opinion among scholars regarding the precise timing of this hour. Imām Ibn Ḥajar (رحمه الله) compiled forty different scholarly views on this matter.
[Fatḥ al-Bārī: 3/82]
Hence, it is most appropriate that one strives in supplication throughout the day, especially after Jumuʿah prayer until sunset, as indicated by Shaykh Ibn Jibreen.

✿ Narrations Regarding the Timing
➊ Ḥaḍrat Abū Mūsā (رضي الله عنه) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
هي ما بين أن يجلس الإمام - يعني على المنبر - إلى أن تقضى الصلاة
“It is the time between when the Imam sits on the pulpit until the prayer is concluded.”
[Muslim: 853 | Abū Dāwūd: 1049 | Ibn Khuzaymah: 1739]
➋ Ḥaḍrat ʿAbdullāh ibn Salām (رضي الله عنه) narrated:
“It is the last hour of the day (on Friday).”
[Ḥasan: Ṣaḥīḥ Ibn Mājah: 934 | Aḥmad: 5/451 | Muwaṭṭā: 1/108]
➌ Ḥaḍrat Jābir (رضي الله عنه) narrated:
“Seek it in the last hour after ʿAṣr (on Friday).”
[Ṣaḥīḥ: Ṣaḥīḥ Abū Dāwūd: 926 | Abū Dāwūd: 1048]

The strongest opinion among all is:
آخر ساعة من اليوم
“It is the last hour of the day.”
