❀ Command to Grow the Beard and Trim the Moustache in Light of Hadith and the Qur’an ❀

Which Hadith book mentions that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“My Lord has commanded me to grow the beard and trim the moustache”?
Alḥamdulillāh, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. To proceed:
These specific words are found in:
Tafsīr al-Qurṭubī, Volume 3, Page 124.
However, in reality, the command of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is the command of Allah ﷻ itself.
As stated in the Qur’an:
{مَنْ یُّطِعِ الرَّسُوْلَ فَقَدْ اَطَاعَ اﷲَ}
(Whoever obeys the Messenger has indeed obeyed Allah)
— Juz 5, Rukū‘ 8
هَذَا مَا عِنْدِي وَاللّٰهُ أَعْلَمُ بِالصَّوَابِ
This is what I have, and Allah knows best what is correct.
