Using the Little Finger to Interlace the Toes During Wudu – Hadith Authenticity

Is the hadith about using the little finger of the hand to interlace (do khilal) between the toes during wudu authentic or weak?
Alhamdulillah, wassalatu wassalamu ‘ala Rasulillah, amma ba’d!
Hadhrat Al-Mustawrid bin Shaddad (RA) narrates:
“I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performing wudu, and he was interlacing the toes of his feet using the little finger of his hand.”
(Abu Dawud – Kitab al-Taharah, Bab Ghusl al-Rijlayn; al-Tirmidhi – Kitab al-Taharah, Bab fi Takhlil al-Asabi‘)
Imam Malik (رحمه الله) graded this hadith as hasan.
