❖ Supplications to Be Recited During Grave Visitations​


When visiting graves, the following prescribed Sunnah supplications should be recited:

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمُ أَهْلَ الدِّيَارِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ بِكُمْ لَاحِقُونَ نَسْئالُ اللَّهَ لَنَا وَلَكُمُ الْعَافِيَةَ

In another narration, the wording is slightly different:


اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ دَارَ قَوْمٍ مُّؤْمِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ بِكُمْ لَا حِقُونَ

✔ Key Point:
Only these authentic supplications should be recited during grave visitations. These are reported directly from the Sunnah and should be preserved without addition or alteration.
