❖ Proof from an Authentic Ḥadīth for Raising Hands in Additional Takbīrs of Eid

Should one raise the hands (Rafʿ al-Yadayn) during the Takbīrāt of the Eid prayers?
(Questioner: Muḥammad bin Zakī, Riyāḍ, Saudi Arabia)
Al-ḥamdu lillāh, waṣ-ṣalātu was-salāmu ʿalā Rasūlillāh, ammā baʿd!
Raising the hands (Rafʿ al-Yadayn) at the time of Takbīrāt al-ʿĪdayn is proven through an authentic narration. Hence, this practice should be followed.
"كان يرفع يديه في كل تكبيرةٍ كبّرها قبل الركوع"
"He ﷺ would raise his hands with every Takbīr that he said before Rukūʿ."
This is an authentic ḥadīth
