The command of Allah states:
قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ الْجِنِّ أَنَا آتِيكَ بِهِ
"A powerful one (Ifrit) from among the jinn said: 'I will bring it to you.'"
[An-Naml: 39]
This noble verse is a clear proof that ‘Ifrit’ is from among the jinn.
