Are the Mirzais people of the Qibla or not?

Excerpt: Fatawa Aman Puri by Sheikh Ghulam Mustafa Zaheer Aman Puri

Question:

Are the Qadianis (Mirzais) people of the Qibla or not?

Answer:

The Qadianis are infidels and apostates; they have denied several fundamental beliefs of Islam, including the belief in the finality of prophethood. These people claim that prophethood continues after the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and that Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani is also a prophet, whereas the Quranic texts, the mutawatir hadiths, and the consensus of the Ummah demand that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last prophet and that his Ummah is the last Ummah. After him (peace be upon him), the chain of revelation has been severed. The belief in the finality of prophethood is one of the essentials of the religion; one who denies it is an infidel. Therefore, those who deny the collective belief of Muslims, such as the Qadianis, are infidels and apostates; they cannot be considered among the people of the Qibla, and the entire Ummah has reached a consensus on their disbelief and apostasy.

❀ Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) states:
" Muhammad (peace be upon him) has come as a messenger and the seal of the prophets for both jinn and humans, Arabs and non-Arabs. There is no prophet after him (peace be upon him); this is a blessing from Allah upon His servants. He has made the proofs and arguments for your prophethood clear, thus establishing a conclusive argument against all creation."

❀ He also states:
"It is also necessary to believe that you (Muhammad, peace be upon him) are the seal of the prophets to be a believer; there is no prophet after you (peace be upon him). Allah has sent you to all jinn and humans so that you convey His commands and prohibitions, promises and threats, and what is lawful and unlawful to them. Thus, what is lawful is what Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) have declared lawful, and what is unlawful is what Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) have declared unlawful, and the religion is what Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) have legislated. Whoever holds the belief that there is a way to reach Allah without obeying Muhammad (peace be upon him) is an infidel and a friend of Satan."

❀ He further writes:
"It is evident that a claimant of prophethood must either be the most superior and perfect among creation or the most deficient and vile. This is why when a notable from the Thaqif tribe received the invitation of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), he said: 'I will not say a single word about you; if you are a child, you are above me rejecting your invitation, and if you are a liar, you are beneath me to reject you.' How can the most perfect and superior person among creation be like the most deficient and vile person? The statement of our master Hassan bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) is beautiful: 'Even if there were no clear signs in the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), his personality would still be sufficient to announce prophethood.' Among the liars, whoever claimed prophethood was overwhelmed by ignorance, falsehood, wickedness, and satanic temptations, while when any son of Adam claimed prophethood, knowledge, truthfulness, goodness, and other virtues prevailed over him; even the least discerning person can understand these matters."
