Allah Almighty says:
"O assembly of jinn and mankind! Did there not come to you messengers from among yourselves, reciting to you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?” They will say, “We bear witness against ourselves,” and the worldly life deluded them, and they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers."
[Al-An‘am: 130]
Just like humans, jinn are also held accountable under the Islamic law. They are obligated to affirm the Shahadatayn, perform prayer, give zakat, fast in Ramadan, and perform Hajj, among other obligations. Whatever the Shari‘ah has forbidden for humans is likewise forbidden for jinn.
As with mankind, there are Muslims, Jews, Christians, disbelievers, and Magians among the jinn, as mentioned in Surah Al-Jinn:
"And among us are the righteous, and among us are [others] not so; we are divided into different paths."
[Al-Jinn: 11]
