Are humans of a higher rank or the jinn?
Humans are of a higher rank.
Allah Almighty states:
"And indeed, We have honored the children of Adam, and We carried them on land and sea and provided them with good things and preferred them over many of those We created, with [definite] preference."
[Sūrah al-Isrā’: 70]
This honor is not affirmed for the jinn — neither in the Book of Allah, nor through any messenger or prophet.
Thus, it is evident that the dignity and status of human beings surpass that of the jinn.
