When will Imām al-Mahdī appear, what are his qualities, and what is the stance of Ahl al-Ḥadīth on this issue?
✔ Name: His name will be Muḥammad.
✔ Father’s Name: His father’s name will be ʿAbdullāh.
✔ Lineage: He will be from the lineage of Fāṭimah رضي الله عنها, the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ.
✔ Just Ruler: He will fill the earth with justice and fairness, just as it had previously been filled with oppression and injustice.
✔ Caliphate: He will be born naturally and will rise to leadership; he is not hidden in any cave.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"المهدي من عترتي من ولد فاطمة"
"The Mahdī is from my lineage, from the children of Fāṭimah."
[Sunan Abī Dāwūd: 4284 – Ḥadīth Ṣaḥīḥ]
✔ The Ahl al-Ḥadīth affirm the belief in Imām al-Mahdī as an established truth based on authentic Hadiths.
✔ They reject exaggerations, fabricated legends, and mythical narratives associated with him.

When will Imām al-Mahdī appear, what are his qualities, and what is the stance of Ahl al-Ḥadīth on this issue?
◈ ➊ Time of Appearance of Imām al-Mahdī
- Imām al-Mahdī will appear near the Day of Judgment, shortly before the descent of ʿĪsā (Jesus) عليه السلام.
- He will serve as a righteous caliph for the Muslims and will work to revive and uphold Islam.
◈ ➋ Characteristics of Imām al-Mahdī
✔ Name: His name will be Muḥammad.
