Where is Allah ﷻ, and is Muhammad al-Karim ﷺ alive?
Allah ﷻ is established above the Throne, as stated in the noble verse:
﴿الرَّحْمَنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَى﴾
(Ta-Ha: 5)
Translation: "The Most Merciful is established above the Throne."
This blessed verse clearly indicates that Allah ﷻ is above the Throne.
No explanation regarding the manner of His being established on the Throne has been provided by Allah ﷻ.
Hence, asking about it or attempting to describe it is prohibited and unlawful.
The belief that Allah ﷻ is present everywhere is incorrect and contradicts the above-mentioned verse.
However, Allah’s knowledge and authority encompass everything, and nothing is hidden from His knowledge.
The life of the Noble Prophet ﷺ in the grave is like that of the other Prophets (عليهم السلام) and martyrs.
This is a life of the Barzakh (intermediate realm), and it bears no connection to worldly life.
It is not permissible to seek help or make requests from the Prophet ﷺ after his passing.
There is no precedent for such acts from the noble Companions (رضي الله عنهم) or the righteous predecessors.
Therefore, such practices are incorrect and impermissible.
