Question:
In a college mosque, female students perform prayers, and one of the students leads them in prayer. Is it permissible for a woman to lead other women in prayer?
Answer:
Adhan (the call to prayer) and congregation (jama'ah) are not prescribed for women. These practices are specifically for men. Leading the prayer and making adhan are duties reserved for men, and it is not legislated for women to engage in these acts.
And Allah is the Giver of success.
