Question:
Is it permissible for women to pray in the marketplace?
Answer:
It is obligatory for men to offer prayer in congregation in the mosque. As for women, the best place for them to pray is their home. However, if a woman finds it necessary to pray in the marketplace and there are arrangements for covering and seclusion, there is no harm in doing so.
And Allah knows best.
