A guest came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He sent a message to all his blessed wives for food, but none of them had anything to offer. Upon this, he made this prayer:
"O Allah! I ask You for Your grace and Your mercy, for none holds these except You."
No sooner had he made the prayer than a roasted goat was sent to him as a gift. The Prophet (ﷺ) remarked, "This is Allah's grace, and we are still waiting for the mercy."
