❖ Noble Status of the Prophet ﷺ in the Qur’an​

◈ Quranic Verse 1
﴿مُّحَمَّدٌ رَّسُولُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ...﴾
[Al-Fath: 29]
"Muḥammad is the Messenger of Allah. And those who are with him are firm against the disbelievers and compassionate among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating, seeking the bounty of Allah and His pleasure..."


◈ Quranic Verse 2
﴿مَّا كَانَ مُحَمَّدٌ أَبَا أَحَدٍ...﴾
[Al-Aḥzāb: 40]
"Muḥammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of the Prophets. And Allah is All-Knowing of everything."

﴿وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَاكَ إِلَّا كَافَّةً لِّلنَّاسِ...﴾
[Saba’: 28]
"And We have not sent you except to all mankind as a bringer of good tidings and a warner, but most people do not know."

✿ Ḥadīth 1​

"My example and the example of the prophets before me..."
Narrated by Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه
The Prophet ﷺ said:


«مثلي ومثل الأنبياء كمثل قصر... وأنا سددت»
"My example and the example of the Prophets before me is like a beautiful palace from which one brick is missing. People admire it but say, 'If only this brick were placed!' I am that final brick, and I am the Seal of the Prophets."

✿ Ḥadīth 2​

"I was given five things that no one before me was given..."
Narrated by Jābir bin ʿAbdullah رضي الله عنه:


«أعطيت خمسا لم يعطهن أحد قبلي...»
"I have been given five things that were not given to anyone before me: I was helped by awe over a distance of a month’s travel; the whole earth was made a place of prostration and purification for me; the spoils of war were made lawful for me; I was granted intercession; and every prophet was sent to his own people but I was sent to all mankind."

✿ Ḥadīth 3​

"Warn your close relatives..."
Narrated by Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه when the verse ﴿وَأَنذِرْ عَشِيرَتَكَ الأَقْرَبِينَ﴾ was revealed:


The Prophet ﷺ addressed his tribe and even his closest family members, saying:
"O tribe of Quraysh, save yourselves from the Fire. I can do nothing to save you from Allah... O Fatimah bint Muḥammad, ask me whatever you wish of my wealth, but I can avail you nothing before Allah."

✿ Ḥadīth 4​

"I am the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection..."
Narrated by Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه:


«أنا سيد ولد آدم يوم القيامة...»
"I will be the leader of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection, the first to rise from the grave, the first to intercede, and the first whose intercession will be accepted."

✿ Ḥadīth 5​

"I have many names..."
Narrated by Jubayr bin Muṭʿim رضي الله عنه:


«إن لي أسماء أنا محمد وأنا أحمد...»
"I am Muhammad, Ahmad, al-Māḥī (through whom disbelief is erased), al-Ḥāshir (after whom people will be resurrected), and al-ʿĀqib (after whom there is no prophet)."

❖ Physical and Moral Attributes of the Prophet ﷺ​

﴿فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللَّهِ لِنتَ لَهُمْ...﴾
[Āl ʿImrān: 159]
"By the mercy of Allah, you were lenient with them. And if you had been harsh or hard-hearted, they would have dispersed from around you..."

Appearance and Gait
Narrated by Ali رضي الله عنه:


«كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ليس بالطويل...»
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither tall nor short. His head and beard were large, his palms were thick, and he had a reddish-white complexion. His joints were strong, and his chest had a thin line of hair. When he walked, he leaned forward as if descending a slope..."

✿ Ḥadīth 7​

Fragrance and Softness
Narrated by Anas رضي الله عنه:


"I never smelled musk or amber more fragrant than the fragrance of the Prophet ﷺ. His palm was softer than silk."

✿ Ḥadīth 8​

Gentleness with Servants
Narrated by Anas رضي الله عنه:


"I served the Prophet ﷺ for ten years. Not once did he say to me 'Uff' or 'Why did you do this?' or 'Why didn’t you do that?'"

Preference for Ease
Narrated by ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها:


"Whenever the Prophet ﷺ was given a choice between two matters, he chose the easier, so long as it wasn’t sinful. And he never took revenge for personal reasons unless Allah’s sanctity was violated."

Sent as Mercy, Not a Cursers
Narrated by Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه:


"It was said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, curse the disbelievers.’ He said: ‘I was not sent as a curser, but rather as a mercy.’"

Modesty
Narrated by Abu Saʿīd al-Khudri رضي الله عنه:


"The Prophet ﷺ was more modest than a veiled virgin in her chamber. If he disliked something, it would be seen on his face."

Generosity in Ramadan

"The Prophet ﷺ was the most generous of people, and even more generous during Ramadan when Jibrīl would meet him every night and review the Qur'an with him..."

"The Prophet ﷺ would mend his clothes, milk his goat, and serve himself at home."

Contentment with Little

"O Allah, make the sustenance of the family of Muhammad only enough for their basic needs."

Mercy for Animals
Narrated by ʿAbdullāh bin ʿUmar رضي الله عنهما:


"A woman was punished in Hell for imprisoning a cat, neither feeding it nor letting it eat the insects of the earth."

Trustworthiness
Narrated by ʿAli رضي الله عنه:


"During the dispute over rebuilding the Kaʿbah, when the Quraysh saw the Prophet ﷺ enter the Ḥaram, they exclaimed: 'Here comes the trustworthy one!'"

❖ Purity and Ritual Cleanliness​

◈ Quranic Verse
﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا قُمْتُمْ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ...﴾
[Al-Mā’idah: 6]
"O believers! When you rise to pray, wash your faces and hands up to the elbows, wipe your heads, and wash your feet up to the ankles... Allah does not wish to place you in difficulty, but He wishes to purify you..."

✿ Ḥadīth 18​

Wudū’ of the Prophet ﷺ
Narrated by Ḥumrān, freed slave of ʿUthmān رضي الله عنه:


He saw ʿUthmān perform ablution exactly like the Prophet ﷺ, then said:


"Whoever performs ablution like this and prays two rakʿahs without distracting himself, his past sins are forgiven."

❖ Love for Cleanliness and Right Side​

◈ Quranic Verse
﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ التَّوَّابِينَ وَيُحِبُّ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ﴾
[Al-Baqarah: 222]
"Indeed, Allah loves those who constantly repent and those who purify themselves."


◈ Quranic Verse
﴿وَمِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَتَهَجَّدْ بِهِ نَافِلَةً لَّكَ...﴾
[Al-Isrā’: 79]
"And during the night, pray with it as additional worship for you; it may be that your Lord will raise you to a praised station (maqām maḥmūd)."

✿ Ḥadīth 19​

Narrated by Hudhayfah رضي الله عنه:
«كان إذا قام للتهجد من الليل يسوك فاه بالسواك»
"Whenever the Prophet ﷺ stood up for the night prayer, he would cleanse his mouth with a miswāk."

✿ Ḥadīth 20​

Narrated by ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها:
«كان النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم يحب التيمن ما استطاع...»
"The Prophet ﷺ used to prefer beginning with the right side in all his affairs—while purifying himself, combing his hair, and wearing his sandals."

❖ Beloved Prophet ﷺ and His Prayer​

﴿وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ ۖ إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ تَنْهَىٰ عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنكَرِ﴾
[Al-‘Ankabūt: 45]
"Establish prayer; surely prayer restrains from indecency and wrongdoing."

❖ Visiting the Sick and Compassion​

﴿وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ﴾
[Al-Shuʿarā’: 80]
"And when I fall ill, it is He who heals me."

✿ Ḥadīth 22​

Narrated by Anas رضي الله عنه:
«أذهب الباس رب الناس، واشف أنت الشافي...»
"When the Prophet ﷺ visited a sick person, he would say: 'Remove the suffering, O Lord of mankind. Heal, for You are the Healer. There is no healing except Yours—a healing that leaves behind no disease.'"

"The Prophet ﷺ entered Makkah on the day of the Conquest wearing a black turban."

"The Prophet ﷺ used to wear a ring on his right hand."

Narrated by Ibn ʿAbbās رضي الله عنهما:

✿ Ḥadīth 33​

Narrated by ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها:
"Whenever the Prophet ﷺ intended to travel, he would draw lots among his wives. The one whose name was chosen would accompany him. He allotted each wife a day and night. Sawdah رضی الله عنها gave her day and night to ʿĀ’ishah, seeking the pleasure of the Prophet ﷺ."

"I used to apply the best perfume I could find to the Prophet ﷺ, until I could see the shine of the fragrance on his hair and beard."

❖ The Passing of the Prophet ﷺ​

﴿إِنَّكَ مَيِّتٌ وَإِنَّهُم مَّيِّتُونَ﴾
[Al-Zumar: 30]
"Indeed, you (O Muḥammad) will die, and indeed, they too will die."

✿ Ḥadīth 36​

Narrated by ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها:
"When the Prophet ﷺ was in his final moments, he dipped his hand into a water container, wiped his face, and said: 'O Allah! Help me in the pangs of death.'"

Narrated by ʿĀ’ishah رضي الله عنها:
"I heard the Prophet ﷺ in his last moments saying: 'O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, and join me with the Highest Companion (al-Rafīq al-Aʿlā).'"

❖ Virtue of Loving the Prophet ﷺ​

﴿قُلْ إِن كَانَ آبَاؤُكُمْ...﴾
[Al-Tawbah: 24]
"Say: If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your spouses, your tribes, your wealth, your trade, and your dwellings are more beloved to you than Allah, His Messenger, and striving in His cause—then wait until Allah brings about His command..."

Narrated by Anas رضي الله عنه:
"There are three qualities that if a person has them, he has tasted the sweetness of faith: to love Allah and His Messenger more than anything else..."

Narrated by Anas رضي الله عنه:
"Whoever sees me in a dream has indeed seen me, for Shayṭān cannot impersonate me. The dream of a believer is one of forty-six parts of Prophethood."
