These elements are not authentically reported from the Prophet ﷺ.
❖ Selected Rulings Regarding Salat al-Janāzah (Funeral Prayer)
① Reciting Surah al-Fātiḥah in Salat al-Janāzah is Sunnah
② Reciting an Additional Sūrah after Sūrah al-Fātiḥah is Sunnah
③ Recitation Should Only Be Done After the First Takbīr
④ After the Recitation, Ṣalāh upon the Prophet ﷺ Should Be Sent
⑤ Then a Sincere Supplication for the Deceased Should Be Made
⑥ Performing the Janāzah Prayer Aloud (Jahran) Is Sunnah
⑦ Reciting Silently (Sirr) in Janāzah Prayer Is Also Sunnah
⑧ Jahr (Audible Recitation) Is Used for Educational Purposes
⑨ It Is Sunnah to Conclude the Janāzah Prayer by Saying Salām to the Right
⑩ It Is Permissible to Recite the Supplication in an Audible Voice So That the Followers Can Memorize It
