Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

So do not be harsh with the orphan [8].

Sponsorship of the Orphan:

That is, just as We took care of you at every stage during your orphanhood, in the same way, you too should treat orphans in the best manner. Do not oppress them, do not be harsh with them, do not leave them helpless and alone, rather, always take full care of their needs. Accordingly, the Prophet ﷺ, encouraging other Muslims to sponsor orphans and treat them kindly, said: I and the sponsor of an orphan will be together in Paradise like this. Then the Prophet ﷺ indicated with his index and middle fingers and separated them slightly. [بخاری، کتاب الادب۔ باب فضل من یعول یتیما]
