Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
And proclaim the blessings of your Lord upon you [10].
[10] The Meaning of Proclaiming the Blessings:
Some blessings have been mentioned by Allah Almighty in this Surah. Besides these, there were countless favors of Allah upon you ﷺ. The best way to mention and express Allah’s blessings is to offer heartfelt gratitude to Allah. And one should never think that there was any special ability or merit in oneself because of which Allah bestowed these favors. Rather, they should be considered purely as Allah’s grace and mercy, and these blessings should be acknowledged and admitted before others with this very feeling, but with the caution that there should not be even a hint of pride or boasting in this acknowledgment and admission.
