Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

59. How much better it would have been if they were content [64] with what Allah and His Messenger had given them, and said, "Allah is sufficient for us. Allah will give us of His bounty, and so will His Messenger. To Allah alone do we turn our hopes."

[64] That is, it would have been better for the hypocrites to place their trust in the person of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and to be content and satisfied with whatever Allah had already given them and what the Messenger had now given them. And if, according to their own assumption, they felt any deficiency, then for the future they should have looked towards the grace and bounty of Allah.
