Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

3. This is a proclamation from Allah and His Messenger to all people on the day of the Greater Pilgrimage that: “Allah and His Messenger are free from obligation to the polytheists. So if you repent, it is better for you; but if you turn away, then know that you cannot frustrate Allah [3].” And (O Prophet), give tidings of a painful punishment to the disbelievers.

Purification of the Arabian Peninsula from Shirk and the Polytheists:

That is, Allah Almighty desires the purification of this Arabian Peninsula from the polytheists, and none of your efforts can become an obstacle in Allah Almighty’s intention. Thus, by this proclamation, it was not only intended to protect the House of Allah from the filth of shirk, but rather to purify the entire Arabian Peninsula from these impure polytheists.
