The building which they built will never cease to be a cause of hypocrisy and doubt in their hearts unless their hearts are cut to pieces. (i.e. till they die). And Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

110. The building (of the mosque) which they have built will remain a source of doubt in their hearts until their hearts are torn to pieces [123]. And Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

[123] Although this building has been demolished, the disease of hypocrisy has taken such deep root in the hearts of these hypocrites that it can never be eradicated—unless their hearts are so pierced that there remains no place for it to take root. The breaking of the hearts into pieces refers to their death, meaning that hypocrisy will not leave their hearts until the moment of their death.
