Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

23. And Hell will be brought forth that Day. On that Day, man will remember, but how will remembrance benefit him then? [17]

[17] That is, when the deniers of the Hereafter and of Paradise and Hell will see Hell with their own eyes, they will say that whatever admonition or command is given to us today, we are ready to accept it. But at that time, their obedience will not be voluntary but compelled. Their faith will not be in the unseen, but by direct witnessing, and therefore it will have no value or worth. Anyone can believe in something after seeing it. On that day, such people will say with great regret that if only we had accepted this admonition in the world, and had done some good deeds for this Day.
