إِنَّ إِلَيْنَآ إِيَابَهُمْ ﴿25﴾
Verily, to Us will be their return;
إِنَّ inna Indeed
إِلَيْنَآ ilaynā to Us
إِيَابَهُمْ iyābahum (will be) their return

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Surely, to Us is their return [11].

[11] The opposite of "iyab" is "dhahab," and "dhahab wa iyab" means, for example, if a person goes from Lahore to Islamabad, that is "dhahab," and when he returns from there to Lahore, that is "iyab." And this word is used only for living beings, and it is not necessary that the one returning has any intention involved in the return. Thus, the meaning of this verse is that, in any case, they will have to return to Us. At that time, We will certainly hold them to account, and it is Our responsibility that We do not leave them without an accounting.
