Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
5. So let man consider from what he was created [4].
[4] After drawing attention to the higher realms, now man is being invited to reflect upon his own creation: who nurtured him in his mother’s womb, and who kept his embryo firmly established in the womb, so firmly that without a severe accident the pregnancy could not be lost? Then, when he came out of his mother’s womb, he was so weak and feeble that no other living creature’s offspring is as weak as he was. Then, arrangements for his growth and development were made even more than for all other creatures. Then, from birth until death, he is continuously watched over. He is protected from diseases, accidents, and all kinds of calamities. So many means for his life and its preservation are provided to him that man cannot even count them, nor is he even aware of them. How could he possibly provide them himself? Until he reaches that appointed time of death which Allah has fixed for him. Now the question is: is it possible for all this to happen without Allah’s planning and supervision?
