Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
25. But those who believe and do righteous deeds, for them is a reward that will never be cut off [19].
[19] The Literal Meaning of ﴿مَنَّ﴾:
The word ﴿مَمْنُوْن﴾﴿منّ﴾ is used in three senses: (1) to do a favor, (2) to remind of a favor, (3) to cut or be cut off, i.e., severance and disconnection. Here, this word is used in the third sense. And in this meaning, it is used both transitively and intransitively. In ﴿من﴾, the disconnection does not happen all at once, but rather in the sense of something gradually decreasing and coming to an end, thus causing the sequence to be severed. The meaning is that the reward given to the people of Paradise will never decrease nor will it ever be cut off.
