[16] The Qualities of the Wine of Paradise:
The wine of this world is foul-smelling and bitter in taste; its stench immediately reaches the brain upon drinking, causing a person’s senses to become disturbed. In contrast, this special kind of wine in Paradise, called “Rahiq,” will have a fragrance like musk. Its seal will be of musk instead of sealing wax, clay, or wax, and it will have none of the defects of worldly wine. The meaning is that the impure wine of this world is not worthy of the attention of good people. However, this Rahiq is certainly such a blessing that people should eagerly seek it, and should strive to outdo one another in good deeds to attain it.
