Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

6. O mankind! What has deceived you concerning your generous Lord [7]?

[7] That is, the demands of the favors of your Lord, Who is gracious to you, were that you should have been grateful to Him and lived as His obedient servant. But you fell into the deception that whatever you have become, you have become by yourself. Moreover, it is also your Lord's grace that you do whatever you wish, and He does not immediately send down any punishment upon you. It is as if you have taken your Lord's kindness as a sign of weakness, and you have fallen into the delusion that there is no such thing as justice in your Lord's kingdom. Whereas He is not only Gracious, but He is also Just, and He is also the Subduer and the Compeller. He seizes slowly, but His grip is just as severe.
