Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
19. From a drop of fluid, Allah created him and then determined his destiny [12].
[12] If he were to reflect on what he was created from, in what place he was nurtured and transformed from a drop of fluid into a child, then in what state of helplessness he was brought out from his mother’s womb, he would never dare to confront his Creator or, after hearing His Word, deny it. Then, when he was being nurtured in his mother’s womb, his destiny was determined: how long his life would be, where he would die, and where he would be buried; whether he would remain poor or be prosperous; whether he would be granted faith or not; whether he would die in a state of disbelief or in a state of faith. All these details were determined in the mother’s womb, and before this decreed destiny, he is utterly powerless. Yet, despite all these things, he shows arrogance and disbelief in opposition to Allah.
