Exalted (in dignity), purified,
مَّرْفُوعَةٍۢ marfūʿatin Exalted
مُّطَهَّرَةٍۭ muṭahharatin purified

14. Which are kept in exalted [8] and purified places.

[8] That is, the greatness and majesty of the Quran is such that its verses are inscribed in the Preserved Tablet (al-Lawh al-Mahfuz), in highly honored, exalted, and pure scriptures above the seven heavens, and on earth, sincere and faithful people keep its pages in a high place with great honor, respect, sanctity, and purity.
