55. Indeed, the worst of creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have denied the truth and will not believe.
[58] Who are the worst of creatures?
Worst in the sense that they have been granted the faculties of intellect and discernment which ordinary animals have not been given. Then, if these people, despite possessing these faculties, do not bother to understand, see, or hear the truth, nor are they willing to believe in the truth, then they are considered worse than ordinary animals.
