O you who believe! When you meet (an enemy) force, take a firm stand against them and remember the Name of Allâh much (both with tongue and mind), so that you may be successful.

فَٱثْبُتُوا۟fa-uth'butūthen be firm
وَٱذْكُرُوا۟wa-udh'kurūand remember

لَّعَلَّكُمْlaʿallakumso that you may

45. O you who believe! When you encounter a force, stand firm and remember Allah much [50], so that you may succeed.
[50] Remembering Allah Abundantly During Battle and Relying Only Upon Him:
From here onwards, instructions are being given to the Muslims regarding war, and commands concerning their internal and external war policies are being stated: The very first instruction is that if you are confronted by the enemy, then stand firm with full determination and steadfastness, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do not wish to meet the enemy, but if you do encounter them, then face them with full courage and steadfastness. And know that Paradise lies beneath the shade of swords. [بخاري۔ كتاب الجهاد، باب لاتمنو القاء العدو] And during this time, remember Allah abundantly. Remembering Allah at all times will become a cause for your steadfastness, and especially in the battlefield, be mindful of your prayers, and rely only upon Him. This is the secret to your success.
