Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

29. O you who believe! If you fear Allah, He will grant you a criterion [30] (to distinguish right from wrong), remove your evil deeds from you, and forgive you. And Allah is the Possessor of great bounty.

The Fruits of Taqwa:

That is, if you remain fearful lest you commit any act that is against the pleasure of Allah, then Allah will create within you such a light of insight or a power of discernment that will guide you at every turn in life as to which action is according to Allah’s pleasure and which is against His will. That is, those who, after bringing faith, adopt taqwa, Allah bestows upon them three kinds of rewards. First, they are granted the insight to distinguish between truth and falsehood. Second, their evil deeds are erased. And third, most of their sins are forgiven. And these fruits of taqwa are not merely due to taqwa itself, but because Allah is the possessor of infinite grace.
