Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

13. This is because they opposed Allah and His Messenger. And whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger, then surely Allah is severe in punishment [14] against such people.

The Disbelievers of Makkah Inflicting Harm Upon Youﷺ and Your Supplication Against Them:

Observe an example of the kinds of harm that were inflicted upon the Messenger of Allahﷺ in the following hadith: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'udؓ says that once youﷺ were praying near the Ka'bah and Abu Jahl and his companions were sitting there. They said among themselves, "Who among you will go and bring the placenta of the she-camel that so-and-so people slaughtered, and when Muhammadﷺ goes into prostration, place it on his back?" Upon hearing this, the most wretched among them (Uqbah bin Abi Mu'it) got up, brought the placenta, and kept watching. When youﷺ went into prostration, he placed the placenta between yourﷺ shoulders on your back. I myself was watching this, but I could do nothing. I wish (on that day) I had some power. The disbelievers laughed and fell over each other. Youﷺ remained in prostration and could not raise your head until (yourﷺ daughter) Fatimahؓ came and removed the placenta from your back and threw it away. Then youﷺ raised your head and supplicated: "O Allah, deal with the Quraysh." Youﷺ repeated these words three times. When youﷺ were supplicating against them, it was hard on the disbelievers, because they believed that supplications are accepted in this city. Then youﷺ supplicated against them by name: "O Allah! Deal with Abu Jahl, and Utbah bin Rabi'ah, Shaybah bin Rabi'ah, Walid bin Utbah, Umayyah bin Khalaf, and Uqbah bin Abi Mu'it." And Amr bin Maymun mentioned the name of a seventh person (Amarah bin Walid), which we do not remember. Ibn Mas'udؓ says, "By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I saw that all those whom youﷺ named in supplication, their corpses were thrown into the well of Badr."
