إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ ٱلنُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِّنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم بِهِۦ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنكُمْ رِجْزَ ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ ٱلْأَقْدَامَ ﴿11﴾
(Remember) when He covered you with a slumber as a security from Him, and He caused water (rain) to descend on you from the sky, to clean you thereby and to remove from you the Rijz (whispering, evil-suggestions) of Shaitân(Satan), and to strengthen your hearts, and make your feet firm thereby.
إِذْ idh When
يُغَشِّيكُمُ yughashīkumu He covered you
ٱلنُّعَاسَ l-nuʿāsa with [the] slumber
أَمَنَةًۭ amanatan a security
مِّنْهُ min'hu from Him
وَيُنَزِّلُ wayunazzilu and sent down
عَلَيْكُم ʿalaykum upon you
مِّنَ mina from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ l-samāi the sky
مَآءًۭ māan water
لِّيُطَهِّرَكُم liyuṭahhirakum so that He may purify you
بِهِۦ bihi with it
وَيُذْهِبَ wayudh'hiba and take away
عَنكُمْ ʿankum from you
رِجْزَ rij'za evil (suggestions)
ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ l-shayṭāni (of) the Shaitaan
وَلِيَرْبِطَ waliyarbiṭa And to strengthen
عَلَىٰ ʿalā [on]
قُلُوبِكُمْ qulūbikum your hearts
وَيُثَبِّتَ wayuthabbita and make firm
بِهِ bihi with it
ٱلْأَقْدَامَ l-aqdāma your feet
