Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

10. Allah told you this only so that you would rejoice and your hearts [12] would be reassured. Otherwise, help comes only from Allah at all times. Surely, Allah is Mighty and Wise.

The Angels’ Information Was to Keep You Steadfast:

That is, if Allah had willed, He could have helped you and granted you success even without the angels, and if He sent angels to help, that too was His help. The only purpose of informing you beforehand was so that you would not lose heart upon seeing an armed army of disbelievers three times your number. This information was given only to boost your morale and to keep you steadfast.
