سُوْرَةُ النَّازِعَاتِ
Surah An-Naazi'aat (79) — Ayah 2
وَٱلنَّـٰشِطَـٰتِ نَشْطًا ﴿2﴾

By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers).

The Literal Meaning of ﴿نشط﴾:
﴿نشط﴾ is from the language of opposites. ﴿نشط الحبل﴾ means to tie a knot in a rope. And ﴿نَشَطَ الْعُقْدَةُ﴾ means to tighten the knot, and ﴿النَّشُوْطُ﴾ means a knot that is easily untied. Thus, the meaning of ﴿نشط﴾ is both to tie a knot and to untie a knot. That is, when Allah created or made man, He strengthened every joint and connection. At the time of death, the angels will untie those very joints and loosen them.
