Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The Reality and Purpose of Sleep:

Sleep is also among the miraculous wonders of Allah Almighty. What is sleep? Its reality remains a mystery for mankind to this day. We only know that when a person becomes tired from working, he needs rest. But mere cessation of work does not remove fatigue until sleep comes. Sleep is an involuntary matter that compels a tired person to lie down, and then it overtakes him. During work, the cells in a person’s body are burned and destroyed. In the state of sleep, new cells are produced in their place. And a person’s sleep is not complete until the loss is compensated. Then, when the repair and reconstruction of the body is complete, the time for sleep ends, and the person wakes up refreshed on his own.
